I have been involved with the biking scene for many years now and I have the feeling that biking as a whole is on a decline. I have taken a good look at biking in South Africa where I reside and it seems that the peak seems to have been in the 70's. Of late there seems to be a positive trend in the South African biking scene, which is good. I hope that this trend will continue.

I would love to hear from the bikers in the other parts of the world concerning the growth or decline of the biking scene
